So Why Does AT&T Get All Of The Press?

A considerate reader pointed me to the following quote:

"You can expect a 3G iPhone later next year... We are working on the next iPhone already, the one after that and the one after that."

This from the grandmaster himself, Steve Jobs, during a press conference at at the Regent Street Apple store in London, on September 18th, 2007.

So—help me here Robert—how is repeating something the Apple CEO himself already said "sending a $1 billion message"?

And as such, why is AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson getting all of the press?
