Kent Sutherland's Warp gives you new ways to navigate Spaces using your mouse.
Know the trick where you can drag a window across Spaces by moving it to an edge? Well, Warp let's you do the same thing, only without the window in tow.
Just move your mouse cursor to any edge of your screen and, after a user-controllable delay, Warp will take you to the adjacent space.
Or you can do without the delay and specify a modifier-key-combination that will trigger Warp.

All in all, it's such a natural refinement that I'm surprised the Apple didn't think of it.
One hint though. The default install sets a preference to "warp" the mouse cursor. This means that when you move it to the top edge of the screen to move up a space it then "warps" to the bottom of the new space. As if the desktop was one big contiguous space and the top edge of one screen was the bottom edge of the next.
I recommend turning it off, as I often found it to be confusing. When I move the cursor to the top of the screen I expect it to be there when the transition is done. Further, the transition means that you're continually repositioning your mouse as you've moved it to the top of the pad but your cursor is now at the bottom of the screen.
Since they provide the option to turn it off, it's really just a minor nit.
Warp is donation-ware, and can be downloaded here.
